2026 Concert Season Performers
April 11 – Sophia Talvik Band
Swedish singer-songwriter Sofia Talvik returns to the U.S. with her Songs, Strings & Stories Tour 2026, following a winter tour in Germany with her Christmas
album Wrapped in Paper, which reached No. 3 on the Folk Radio Charts in December 2025 and was praised by The New York Times and NPR. Sofia Talvik is a rare artist and an avid storyteller with a voice comparable to giants like Joni Mitchell. She is an experienced international touring artist who has toured through 48 U.S states, many of the countries in Europe, and faraway places like New Zealand.
With ethereal vocals, warm acoustic guitars, and a sound that blends Nordic folk with American roots, Talvik creates concerts that feel personal, reflective, and quietly powerful. Prepare yourself for a unique and intimate evening, not unlike the 1970s coffeehouses and speakeasies.
April 25 – CBDC, Christopher, Bruce, Daniel, Claudia
CBD centers on the songwriting of Claudia Russell and Christopher Smith, whose songs wander happily off the well-worn path—wickedly funny one moment, quietly devastating the next. Their writing has a knack for finding unlikely subjects, then treating them with equal parts empathy, surprise, and a sharp eye for human detail. Those songs are propelled by rich instrumental arrangements, supple grooves, and harmonies with Daniel Patrick and Bruce Kaplan adding texture, lift, and a long view of American roots music.
This outdoor house concert at Robin’s Nest in Davis is a return engagement of sorts—Claudia and Bruce have played here in other configurations—and it promises an intimate evening of songs that linger, laughter that sneaks up on you, and music that sounds especially good in a backyard as the light fades.
May 9 – Joe Cravin and Hattie Craven
The Hattie & Joe Craven Show is a duo project celebrating the value of music making and artful living within, and shared by, families. Hattie is a stunning vocalist, and her father is a well-known seasoned veteran of instrumental based music. Joe accompanies Hattie on mandolin, octave mandolin, percussion and fiddle, with Hattie occasionally bringing ukulele to the mix. Hattie’s singing, combined with her father’s instrumental prowess and good humor, will make this a wonderful evening.
May 23 – The Real Sarahs
The Real Sarahs are a rising force in the West Coast Americana scene, renowned for their skillful harmonies, heartfelt songwriting, and evocative storytelling. Core players Sarah Larkin, Sarah Ryan, and Jen Rund have captivated audiences with their unique blend of folk, jazz, blues, bluegrass, and country influences. Their organic sound enchants and uplifts, drawing listeners into the emotional landscapes of their music.
A hallmark of The Real Sarahs is their live performance chemistry. Their shows blend humor, storytelling, and intimate musical moments, creating an atmosphere where audiences feel personally connected to the music. They have shared the stage with numerous folk and Americana artists, earning a loyal following along the West Coast and beyond. As a trio, Sarah Ryan, Sarah Larkin, and Jen Rund continue to grow creatively.
June 13 – Powerhouse Ladies
Powerhouse Ladies - a rotating ensemble of amazing female-fronted bands. Every show is unique and powerful, with a different set of performers, all on stage together, trading songs. Each ensemble showcases their individual talents before coming together for a grand finale. Spontaneous and moving, casual and fun - the Powerhouse Ladies, featuring Rebecca Roudman of Dirty Cello, The Evening Hawks, and Cosmo and Leslie. Each singer
brings something unique and packs a punch. Rebecca Roudman of Dirty Cello is known for her wild blues and rock, The Evening Hawks delivers 3-part harmonies of Alabama grit and California cool, and Cosmo and Leslie are a songwriting duo that plays a mix of folk, blues, rock and country. Variety, depth and the unfettered female voice are the name of the game.
June 20 – Chris Webster and Nina Gerber
Music fans know Chris Webster and Nina Gerber as two of the most skilled and artful musical talents. Chris’ voice is uniquely compelling while Nina’s guitar is beautiful and powerful. Together they are magic. Chris plays with a number of groups, including Mumbo Gumbo and, since her accompaniment of Kate Wolf first earned her recognition, Nina’s acute skills as performer, producer and arranger have continued to deepen. With
originals, tasteful covers-soulful ballads, jazzy tunes and sweet folk, this will be a great show!
September 12 – Misner & Smith
Northern California-based unclassifiable duo Misner & Smith treasure the unpredictability of their band. Technically precise songwriting mirrored with an
improvisatory spirit and soaring harmonies have made the band—consisting of Sam Misner and Megan Smith—one of the most acclaimed acts in the Americana world. Blending elements of that genre with bluegrass, traditional folk ballads, and more pop-leaning ideas, Misner & Smith makes music gloriously nonconforming. Before the release of their career-defining sixth album, ALL IS SONG, the duo has released five critically acclaimed records, including Halfway Home (2004), Poor Player (2008), Live at the Freight & Salvage (2010), Seven Hour Storm (2013), and headwaters (2017).
October 10 – Ian George.
Ian George, along with his gorgeous band The Knee Pockets (jubilant, ferocious young whippersnappers), have one motive : ALLOW A GOOD TIME. The band delivers the sort of concert you’ll likely dance, sway, sing, laugh and maybe even cry(!) to. Born and raised in the deciduous forests of Minnesota, Ian George’s musical expression reflects the ephemeral seasonal landscapes he was bred in. George has founded and led a handful of bands (including members of Billy Strings, Caleb Klauder Band and Patchy Sanders); touring extensively through the US, Canada, and Europe and gracing some of the western world's most beloved festivals and venues. Expect an engaging and dynamic string of gentle and not so gentle folk-rock adventures.
September 26 - Suzy Thompson
Suzy Thompson is a Berkeley-based artist steeped in Appalachian/Americana music. She will be performing with her longtime musical partner, renowned flat picker Eric Thompson. Suzy has spent decades performing classic blues, jug band, bluegrass & Cajun music. In 2025, she released a new album, "Suzy Sings Siebel" in which she displays her powerful skills as a song interpreter, with ten songs by the great 1970s songwriter Paul Siebel. In addition to her rhythm-driven fiddling, she is a powerful blues singer, influenced by Memphis Minnie and Bessie Smith, and a highly respected blues guitarist.
October 24 – According to Bazooka.
Dive into the fun, heartfelt, and original roots-rock Americana of According to Bazooka. Their irresistibly catchy songs, rich harmonies, and uplifting energy reflect an “easy come, easy go” spirit, and showcase musicians who clearly love what they do. Blending rock ’n’ roll, jazz, blues, and country, According to Bazooka delivers a quintessential California sound. An exciting Americana experience. The band has evolved into a dynamic ensemble: Richard Urbino (guitar, vocals), René Martucci (keys/accordion, vocals), Daphna Rahmil (violin); Jamie Knapp (upright bass, vocals), Don Johnston (drums). Led by Urbino’s seasoned songwriting and the group’s collaborative flair, their original music radiates timeless charm and contagious energy that captivates audiences at each show.
